I was referred to Dr Clavell by a friend and would highly recommend. She listens, doesn't rush me. Gives more information in a couple of visits than I received in the last 6 years.

Dr. Clavell was very thorough in her examination. She took time to explain what she had gleaned from studying the retina images and gave me a contextualized analysis of my situation. She used the retina images to give me a primer on AMD, and talked about AMD in general so that I could understand what she was saying within the broader context of what I could reasonably expect from this condition. She never hurried me and allowed me to ask all my questions. She was concerned and empathetic without forfeiting her professional stance. I was grateful to come away from the consultation with more knowledge about AMD and my condition than when I went in.
